An art gallery opening meets block party, where Porsches become the centerpieces and the city's energy pulsates through the event.
A year later, that vision became reality. The inaugural Checkeditout event descended upon the West Loop, showcasing dozens of Porsches and igniting a passion that continues to grow. Since then, Checkeditout has steadily expanded, attracting over 400 Porsches to the heart of Chicago's Fulton Market.
More Than Just Cars: A Celebration of Chicago Soul
Checkeditout isn't just about admiring exquisite automobiles. It's about fostering a community and celebrating the spirit of Chicago. Imagine hundreds of Porsches lining the streets, not in sterile convention halls, but amidst the city's vibrant energy. Local commissioned art adds a unique touch, while live music and delectable food from nearby restaurants and bars create a truly immersive experience.

Giving Back to the Community
Community is at the core of Checkeditout's mission. Since its inception, the event has proudly partnered with local non-profit organizations. To date, Checkeditout has raised nearly $30,000 for Chicago-area charities, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the city that inspires them.
This year's event benefitted Crushers Club, an organization dedicated to providing at-risk youth with the tools they need to build brighter futures. Through programming and employment opportunities, Crushers Club empowers young men to stay off the streets and forge a positive path.

This year's event took place on last Saturday of August, at Montrose & Knox (4300 N Knox), from 9am till 3 pm.

- Silent Auction: Bid on a unique opportunity to have your Porsche immortalized in a custom artwork, or own the original Checkeditout paintings. Proceeds from the auction benefit Crushers Club.
- An Evening with Bart Kuykens: Renowned photographer Bart Kuykens, known for his "A Flat 6 Love Affair" series, returned to Chicago for Checkeditout Week. This event offered attendees the chance to meet the artist, discuss photography and Porsches, and even schedule shoots during his time in the city.
- What's Your Porsche Story?": This new initiative by filmmaker Ryan Duffy and writer Adam Hurlburt delves into the personal connection attendees have with their Porsches and the Checkeditout community.
- F1 Casino Night: Celebrate Napleton Westmont Porsche's victory in the 2023 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge and enjoy an evening of F1 racing, casino games, and a chance to explore the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Sonderwusch program. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Research Hospital.
