Andriy Yaromenko
Two-time champion of Ukraine in track races. Prize winner of the Ukrainian Auto Slalom championships, Autocross and Karting Slalom championships. Cars and motorsports are what he lives by every day. At the same time, it popularizes reckless driving among drivers.
Andriy successfully qualified for the 2022 edition of the FIA Games and will represent our country in France together with Tetiana Kaduchenko.
For me, as well as for the entire national team, this is a great honor. In such a difficult time each of us realizes how important it is to talk about Ukraine everywhere: in the auto racing arena as well. We will all do our best to raise our flag on the podiums of various disciplines.
David Pastukhov
The closer to FIA Games, the more he trains. After all, he understands that the competitors will be strong. Esports is a relatively young motorsports discipline that is quickly gaining ground on the international scene.
Participation in the Games in Marseille is an extremely big responsibility. That's why I train constantly, and the air raid sirens add to the adrenaline. But I don't stop even for them, because I want to show the world a strong Ukrainian spirit. I am also very motivated by my coach, who believes in me. The main motivation is the representation of our country in the #TeamUkraine of the best Ukrainian motor sportsmen
David comes from karting. Took part in the 24-hour virtual endurance race "24 hours of Spa", became the bronze medalist of "X-team Time Attack".
Dmytro Illiuk
This athlete does not need to be introduced! In the previous FIA MOTORSPORT GAMES 2019 Dmytro won the first place in his discipline. Then the Games took place in Italy.
In France, Dmytro is going to confirm his status and sing the National Anthem of Ukraine again in honor of the victory on the podium.
The FIA MOTORSPORT GAMES 2022 will be my only outing for drifting since the start of a full-scale war. I had many plans for the season, but one day - February 24 - canceled everything. Since then, I, like all Ukrainians, have only one plan - to defeat the enemy. Therefore, going to the Games is special. Because I want to show the whole world how brave our people are. I am proud to represent Ukraine. I thank the FAU for entrusting me with this mission.
Dmytro Muravshchyk
It is an honor for me to present my country at this level. And at the same time it is a huge responsibility.
Like most athletes, Dmytro did not have the opportunity to fully train. But that didn't stop him when he and his team applied for FIA Games.
I had only small training drives. I would like more to show an even better result. However, I will do my best to perform as well as possible.
Dmytro has been doing Karting for the past few years. He is a champion of Ukraine 2021.
Ivan Kondratenko
In this discipline, Ivan will compete together with Mariia Kravchenko. His dream is to become a champion, so he calls participation in FIA Games one of the important peaks. He has been in motorsport for four years. Ivan is a winner of the Ukrainian Cross Country and Karting Championships.
And now he is training a lot to show a decent result in Karting Slalom.
I want our #TeamUkraine to win in many disciplines. And I will make every effort to make this happen in Karting Slalom as well.
Ivan Peklin
The thirst for speed is in his blood, and motorsport has been his element since childhood.
He became the first Ukrainian athlete to win an international GT3 race and an international Formula race. Ivan is a multiple champion of Ukraine in Karting. Now Ivan is actively preparing for FIA Motorsport Games.
I train a lot on the simulator and in the gym. There were also several test days in the GT3 car. I study the weaknesses of competitors.
Ivan's partner will be another well-known Ukrainian racer Yevgen Sokolovskiy (about him - in the next post).
I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to represent Ukraine in these competitions. The Olympic format of motorsport is new for me, and my partner Yevgen Sokolovskiy and I are very motivated to show the best result. Our goal is the same as that of the entire #TeamUkraine: we want the National Anthem of Ukraine to be played on the podium and the Ukrainian flag to be there. This is support for the fighting spirit of Ukraine.
Maria Kravchenko
Maria was introduced to professional motor sports by her father, who trains her. According to the results of the 2021, Maria was the best among girls in the Karting discipline: 4th place in the "ok-junior" class of the Ukrainian Karting Championship and 3rd place in the "rotax-junior" class of the "Ukraine Series Karting" Cup.
Karting Slalom is a relatively new discipline in Ukraine. The championship appeared only last year and, unfortunately, the war prevented its development. Full training is also impossible now. But I really hope that the skills I acquired earlier will help me . And strength and confidence are added by a great desire to present our country at the international level. Holding the flag of Ukraine at FAI Games is the most responsible mission. Because I want to show the whole world the indomitability of our nation.
In Karting Slalom, together with Maria, another Ukrainian athlete will compete. About him in the next post.
Mark Brovko
The smallest athlete of the FIA Games forom Ukraine. Mark has been doing karting since he was 6 years old. In 2019, he became second in the Cup of Ukraine in the class of 60 Baby karts. In 2021, he took second place in the USK Cup (National Rotax International class). He participated in international karting competitions of the WSK series. Mark trains on karting tracks in Italy.
Oleksandr Partyshev
Oleksandr debuted in Formula 4 last year. He participated in the UAE and Spanish Championships, and this year he is competing in the Italian Championship as part of the famous Swiss Jenzer Motorsport team.
He has 5 years of experience in karting. Oleksandr is the winner of the 2017 and 2020 Ukrainian Championships, the winner of the 2020 Ukrainian Cup. He is a regular participant in international races in the Rotax ta WSK series, the European and World Championships. In 2019, he won the FIA Academy Trophy stage and started the tradition of raising the Ukrainian flag at world-level karting competitions.
Participation in the World Games provides a unique opportunity to compete with the best pilots in the world as part of the National Team of Ukraine and to be close to legendary Ukrainian athletes. It is a great honor to represent our country at the highest level competitions. We will do everything possible and even impossible to justify this high trust and with our achievements take another important step towards Our Common Great Victory!!!
Pavlo Chabanov
My primary dream was to create a Ukrainian team that could fight for the championship in European TCR competitions, because this is the only truly sports discipline in ring racing - like Formula 1, but in Touring Car Championship. Therefore, last season I brought the first TCR car to the country and created the team "Huragan Racing", which was supposed to represent the country in the world in the Touring Car Racing class.
Participating in FIA Games 2022 for Pavel is a higher level of responsibility.
I am grateful to the Fédération Automobile de l'Ukraine for the opportunity to represent the country in the TCR discipline at the international level. This was my goal, along with a general revival of national road racing, when I began my journey.
For both Pavlo and the entire team, this is a chance to draw attention to Ukrainian motorsport.
Tetiana Kaduchenko
Tetiana is a multiple participant in competitions in various motor sports disciplines, in particular, slalom and rally. She repeatedly won prizes and raised to the podium:
Participation in competitions of this level is an opportunity to gain invaluable experience and test your strength. Now it is extremely important that Ukrainian athletes go to international competitions, demonstrate the invincibility of their people and raise the Ukrainian flag as often as possible.
Auto slalom for Tatiana is the basis for further development in the world of motor sports. At the World Games in her discipline, Tatiana will compete in tandem with another Ukrainian motorsport athlete. About him - in the next post.
Yevgen Sokolovskiy
His racing career began with a passion for motorcycles. Yevgen took part in the world series on this vehicle. But in 2012, he stopped his motorcycle career. After a short break, he switched to motor sports. During the year, he made up to 50 racing outings. He says about himself that he is from Odesa, who has lived in Germany for many years, and promotes Ukraine there with all his heart. Especially nowadays. Yevhen will be paired with Ivan Peklin in GT.
At #fiamotorsportgames we are aiming for a good result. I have been working hard for the last two years to show a high level. Ivan is also a fast athlete. We have a good duet: I am a bronze pilot, he is a silver pilot. So together we will definitely be able to impose competition on our rivals. We are seriously preparing for this. I wish everyone from the #TeamUkraine to perform in such a way that the whole of Ukraine would be proud of us. Because for the sake of our people we are going to the FIA Motorsport Games 2022.
