FIA Motorsport Games is an unique multidisciplinary event in which racers from different countries of the world, representatives of their national flag, face each other in racing competitions.
The format of the event is real races on cars, as well as competitions between sim racing athletes. Each registered country nominates its own pilot for participation in each of the disciplines declared by the organizers.
- A lot of attention is paid specifically to e-sportsmen, since the victory in the FIA Games is an excellent tool for the future career of young pilots in motorsport.
This "sports festival" is attended by a huge number of world motorsport stars, and the event itself is accompanied by spectacular shows, interesting exhibitions and autograph sessions.
Organized in collab between International Automobile Federation (FIA) and SRO Motorsports Group, this event was first held in 2019 year.
- The host city was Rome, and the races in 6 disciplines were held at the Autodromo di Vallelunga.
The second competition, scheduled for 2020, has been postponed to next year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, FIA Motorsport Games 2021 also did not take place. Fortunately for the participants, the third transfer did not happen.
The SRO Motorsports Group and FIA have announced that the FIA Games 2022 will be held in the French city of Marseille from 26 to 30 October on Circuit Paul Ricard (as declared the host track).
The disciplines such as endurance racing, GT-sprint and rally racing have been added to the program of events.
- Anticipating the success of the competition, on March 11, 2020, the FIA and SRO announced that the total number of disciplines in the FIA Motorsport Games will be increased from 6 to 16.
