The initial capital for beginning of the work was provided by Sigma Automotive, from the first letters of the investors and made up the name, abbreviation - HKS (H - Hasegawa, K - Kitagawa, S - Sigma). The work began with the refinement of the internal combustion engine running on gasoline, in the old barn of a former dairy farm. The main task was to create high-performance power facilities and spare parts that the origin manufacturers themselves did not want or we’re not able to make.
