Vasyl Faramets receives victory on the track at Dover in the virtual NASCAR series
The pilot says: "I won at Dover in the Gen4 car. I outsmarted the guys. They went to the pit around lap 70, but I stayed out because we had plenty of cushions. The most important thing was to stay on the old tires in the same lap as the leaders, and on lap 88, there was an accident somewhere and a caution came out. I pitted and came out 8th. On the restart, I fought my way up to 4th place and started chasing down the top 3, passing them one by one. The first and second guys were protecting the inside line very well, but my new tires and battling allowed me to get up to second, and then I passed the leader by unsettling his defense in turn 3 and taking him on the inside in turn 4. It was the last lap, so I just had to finish. My heart was pounding so hard that it was scary. I'm used to keeping myself together, but I don't know... I felt not only the heavy heartbeat but also the blood moving down my legs with every beat."
