2023 World Rally Championship calendar (51st season in WRC history) consist of 13 stages scheduled across the 5 continents whole all the world: African, European, Asian, North and Southern America.

The 2023 WRC calendar includes snow, gravel, asphalt and mixed road surfaces till the all season stages (most of the racing schedule is dedicated to gravel tracks).

WRC CALENDAR - 2023 SEASON

  • The World Rally Championship stages traditionally kicked off from the French Monte Carlo Rally, 19th of Jan.  Japanese city of Toyota (Aichi Prefecture), from 16 to 19th of Nov 2023, will meet the completive stage.

  • The 2023 WRC title is played among racing crews in several categories: among pilots, navigators, teams and fabricators. The racing cars of the participants must meet from Rally5 to Rally1 classes.
  • The scoring right, among manufacturers, will be available for the Rally1 Group vehicles only.
  • In parallel with standings of the 1st group, support races will be held in the WRC3 and WRC2 categories, as well as the Junior WRC (at separate stages).

WRC 2023 REGULATION CHANGES

  • Service time was limited by two hours term per stage weekend for Rally1.
  • Morning car maintenance before gravel stages abolished.
  • Quantity of testing days, prior to the start of the season, has been downgraded till 21 days for the three cars holders and 14 for teams with two cars (previously 28 testing days were accessible to all racing collectives).

CHANGES IN TEAMS

M-SPORT

  • Ott Tänak with Martin Järveoja has signed a one-year contract with M-Sport.
  • Pierre-Louis Loubet extended his contract with team. The former co-driver of Thierry Neuvilley - Nicolas Gilsoul, become Loubet partner.
  • Adrien Fourmeau was promoted to the WRC2.
  • Private pilot (private manufacturer) Jourdan Serderidis continuees the M-Sport team participating on separate stages.
  • Gus Greensmith will drive for Toksport in the WRC2 group.

HYUNDAI

  • Thierry Neuville and M. Vidage prolonged with Hyundai. Esapekka Lappi and J. Ferm joined as a permanent member of the Hyundai.
  • Craig Breen back again to the Hyundai. He will divide 3rd car with Dani Sordo - a crew lead.
  • Oliver Solberg with Elliott Edmondson have left the Huyndai and get in the Toksport team, for WRC2 title compete.
  • Cyril Abiteboul (Renault F1 manager in the past) has become a new Hyundai's head.

TOYOTA

  • Scott Martin and Elfin Evans has prolonged team contract with Kalle Rovanpera and Jonne Halttunen, competing against each other.

  • A. Johnston and T. Katsuta will join the TOYOTA sharing the 3rd car with Sebastian Ogier and his partner - Vincent Landais.
  • The fourth car will be available to private racer till Ogier will be out of competition (few stages). This will happen at 2023 Rally Sweden from 9 to 12 February, for a first time. The
